Red Dead Redemption 2 topped the UK Christmas sales chart

British Interactive Entertainment Association and Research Company GfK Chart-Track made a fresh chart of sales of games in the United Kingdom. On the leading places settled three of the most successful games of 2018.

The first was a western Red Dead Redemption 2. Before this creation Rockstar climbed to the top of the Christmas list already 16 years ago - talking about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 2002 Compared with the week before the sale RDR2 increased by 26%.

45% improved performance FIFA 19, located on the second line. Fifa and Call of duty hold the record for the number of first places in the Christmas week - both franchises won eight victories each.

As for the third place, it went to the next part of the above Call of duty - Black ops 4. Action boasts a 27 percent increase in sales.

If until the end of 2018 one of the catch-ups does not get ahead, then the best-selling game of the year in Britain will be FIFA 19. Second place will get RDR2, and the third is Black ops 4.

Also note the successes Marvel’s Spider-Man and Forza Horizon 4 - in retail, each of the exclusives bypassed such multi-platform projects as Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Battlefield v and Fallout 76. Moreover, "Spiderman" reached for the fourth position in the top-selling games of the year.

Below - a dozen of the most popular entertainment of the past week (in brackets - the place of the week before last). We remind you that Chart track and UKIE consider only physical copies of games.
